Busanjin-jiseong

The Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) likes to have it both ways. On the one hand, the event - which ran this year from October 3 to 12 - is a glitzy, star-studded event that injects the South Korean port city of Busan with a healthy dose of glamour every autumn. Scores of the local industry's top actors make the trip from Seoul. The setting of the festival is also luxurious. With the active support of the city government, the BIFF has built an architecturally bold cinema complex designed

Moe Girls' Korean Story: Scars of Imjin Invasion, Part I: Jukseong-ri Castle, Busan Gijang-gun
The Japanese Invasions of Korea or Imjin Invasion comprised two separate yet linked operations: an initial invasion in 1592, a brief ceasefire in 1596, and a second invasion in 1597. The conflict ended by 1598 in a military stalemate and the withdrawal of Japanese forces from the Korean peninsula. The invasions were launched by Toyotomi Hideyoshi with the intent of conquering Joseon Dynasty Korea and Ming Dynasty China.
